Hey Mageezers!
My playlist for the 60 year reunion has received enthusiastic response. Thank you!
Sourced from my CD collection, it was truly a blast from the past building it from songs of the 50s and 60s long forgotten. Toe tapping and happy, I’m making this 400 song playlist available to all of you.
Please send me a private message via the “send Rick a private message” link on my classmate profile page with an email address where I can send you a link to my iCloud account and you’ll be able to download it to your computer. If you subscribe to Apple Music, let me know and I’ll send you a link to the same playlist available there.
A rocking good summer to you all!

I’ve included one more song and an indulgence for me.  I’m thinking most of you may be unfamiliar with this song written in the late 60s by English singer/songwriter Sandy Denny and recorded in 1969 by her and her band at the time, Fairport Convention.

I’ve been familiar with the song and the band since the early 70s and the brief period when I lived and worked in London.  Essentially forgotten, I happened upon it last week while watching the series on Netflix, This Is Us.

The song, Who Knows Where The Time Goes, was Denny’s greatest hit and has been covered by numerous other artists, most notably Judy Collins and Nina Simone.  Sandy Denny, described as Britain’s first female English folk rock singer/songwriter, should undoubtedly have become much better known internationally but life was cut short by an accidental fall down a staircase at age 31.  She subsequent died from a brain haemorrhage.

I'm hoping you'll enjoy it!
